How we handle reviews

Version of 18 October 2026. Statement on consumer reviews, under Directive 2005/29/EC Article 7(6) and Annex I points 23b and 23c, as amended by Directive (EU) 2019/2161. The statement applies from the date on which customers can write reviews on be-loud.eu; on the date of this version, customers cannot write reviews and the site shows no customer reviews of products.

How we handle reviews

Only signed-in customers can write a review, at most one for each product. A review marked "verified purchase" comes from a customer whose order for that product is in our records; a review without the mark comes from a signed-in customer whose purchase we could not match. A review appears on the site only after our staff have read and approved it, to make sure it follows the rules in section 12 of the Terms and conditions; we do not remove a review because it is critical. If we reject or remove a review, we send its author a statement of reasons (see Digital services (DSA)). We do not write reviews ourselves, do not pay for reviews, do not give rewards for positive ones and do not ask customers to leave only positive reviews. The average score counts every published review of the product.
