Accessibility statement

Version of 12 October 2026. Accessibility statement for be-loud.eu under Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), Romanian Law 232/2022 and the harmonised standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 level AA).

1. Our commitment

We want everyone, including people with disabilities and older people, to be able to find products, order and get help on be-loud.eu. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA.

2. Conformity status

The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. This is our own assessment of 12 October 2026, made by reviewing the page templates and testing keyboard use; it has not yet been checked by an independent auditor.

3. What is in place

  • a "skip to content" link at the top of every page and a main landmark;
  • the language of the page is declared, and the name of each language in the language list is marked in its own language; every page has a title and a main heading;
  • every form field has a name for assistive technology and error messages are in text; changing the delivery country needs the "Apply" button, nothing changes just by moving the selection; the cookie banner, the checkout and the withdrawal form work without JavaScript and with the keyboard;
  • product images have a text alternative; decorative images are hidden from screen readers;
  • the layout works on phones and when text is enlarged;
  • three colour themes ("navy", "noir" and "daylight", chosen in the footer); the text, link and button colours of the themes were measured against the 4.5:1 contrast ratio on 12 October 2026 and the values below it corrected; the contrast of the main colours is also checked by an automated theme test (last run: 17 October 2026);
  • a visible keyboard focus marker on every control.

4. Known limitations

  • Contrast was measured for the main text, link, badge and button colours of the three themes; other combinations (the assistant window, text on photographs, content of third parties) are not yet fully measured.
  • Manufacturers' manuals and data sheets (PDF) are supplied as they are and may not be accessible; ask us and we send the information in another form.
  • The virtual assistant window can be used with the keyboard but has not been tested with all screen readers.
  • Pages of third parties that we link to or open on the way (the map to choose a pick-up point; the payment pages of the payment processor) are outside our control.
  • Product texts that were translated automatically may read less clearly than the source text.

5. Feedback and requests

If you cannot use a part of the site, or need information in another form, write to contact@be-loud.eu or call 0788 315 434, and tell us the page and what the problem is. We answer within 2 business days and try to solve it, or offer another way (for example taking your order by phone or e-mail).

6. Enforcement procedure

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), anpc.ro, which supervises the accessibility requirements for services such as online shops, or the competent authority of your country.
