Description
The DD Audio Z418 is part of the Z4 series, a line of subwoofers launched in 2005 that changed how people think about high-performance drivers.
In its current form, the Z418 features a grade 52 neodymium open motor design with a 4 in voice coil and a 15 1/2 in piston diameter.
All moving parts are made in the USA from fine materials and assembled in the OKC facility. The motor uses black painted gloss steel parts for corrosion resistance and red anodized accents on the aluminum top plate and shorting ring.
This subwoofer includes the Evolution Subwoofer Package (ESP), which provides larger diameter suspensions and deeper frames than standard subs.
Standard features include an oversized dry finish black composite dust cap, a red logo, and a treated pulp cone.
- Speaker Size: 18 in
- RMS Power: 6000 W
- Peak Power: 18000 W
